Chapters eight through ten have been added to The Rooster, The Witch and the Hero.

I’m doing minor edits (still finding little typos and what-not, even the thirtieth time through) and getting to the point where the story starts picking up and really gets fun.  I hope my readers feel that way too.

Nothing much to report this week.

No new art, I’m sorry to say, but Chapter Five of The Rooster, The Witch, and the Hero has been posted!

Please excuse the lack of enthusiasm in today’s site update.  We had to take our kitty to the veterinarian yesterday and I’m still trying to shake that off (’nuff said).

I’ve been doing a lot of little changes behind-the-scenes, so to speak, and with my awesome hubby’s help, one BIG behind-the-scene change.  For those of you coming here through disneywriter.com, you no longer have the black “splash page” to click through. (YAY!)  For those who bookmarked the lengthy URL, you no longer need to use that.

I’m sorry there’s no real artwork update, although there is a new drawing on this page.

I’m going to go dye some yarn, I think. . .   Until next week.

I’ve got several new little goodies to share.

First off is a new link in the navigation bar above.  Check out my Links page!  It’s pretty bare-bones at the moment but maybe with some participation, it’ll fill up nicely.  Just fyi:  my website is not devoted to all things Darkwing Duck (although I know it sure looks that way).  My website is actually devoted to all things Disney.  I participate in other fandoms (and eventually will have the drawings and writing to prove it) so I’d love to link to other Disney fandom pages.  See the Links page for more information.

is that I do stupid things like creating a formspring.me account for one of my characters. Now the problem I have in role-playing Tegwen (and this has been a problem for a while with any attempt at RPing her) is at what point in her life and experiences to depict her. It’s especially dicey when answering a question like “worst date?”  The answer could range from “I’ve never been out on one” to “de joik what killed my parents ahehehehehehe” *dirty look* to “some hockey schmuck,” etc., etc.  (Seriously, I could go on.)

I keep thinking about depicting her as I view her in my mind’s eye, which is somewhere in the middle of her lifespan and experiences.  Thoughts?  Suggestions?

Here’s my first official weekly update!

I present the second chapter of The Rooster, The Witch, and the Hero.

And how cool is this, a bran-spankin’-new artwork, fresh off the sketchpad!  (I’ve been drawing again, so there should be plenty new in weeks to come for those who’ve seen this stuff at my old dA account.)

(Or, as they say, hardly working?)

No, to build a website from scratch — even if you have all its content already gathering moss on the computer — is definitely hard work.  (And if it’s your other half doing most of that hard work.)

And so I am proud to announce the website is officially open!  I have plenty more artwork to add (as if almost 100 images in one gallery isn’t enough) and I’m just beginning to reload my Darkwing Duck fanfiction.  If you’re just starting to read my story, now is the time to do it! (If you’re caught up to my last update as it was on www.horseandrabbit.com, it will be a few months yet before you see new material.  The good news?  The new material is in the first of three stages of revisions!  In other words, the writing exists!)

I have other fandoms for which I’ve written fanfiction and drawn stuff.  That all will come with time.  In the interim, I aim to update at least once a week, so pick a day — any day — and check back frequently for news!

It is good to be home again.
